Report on Film Screening and a Quiz on Mahatma Gandhi

To commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, the department of History, Political Science and Public Administration came together to organize a joint activity to celebrate the occasion. On 3rd September, 2019, all the students of semester V of aforementioned departments gathered together at the Vinayak Hall for a short film screening on the various facets of life of Mahatma Gandhi and his significant contribution in paving ways for India’s freedom through his philosophy of non violence and truth. This was indeed a great learning experience by re memorizing the sacrifices and freedom revolts which eventually played inevitable role in shaping India’s freedom.
The screening was then followed by an interesting quiz based on the film, which covered questions on Mahatma Gandhi’s decisive role and involvement in achieving Independence of India. The students were distributed pens for every correct answers. The response for the activity was not only enthusiastic but gleeful. The activity finally was concluded with a vote of thanks.
