Course Objective:

  • To understand National and International dimensions of Consumer Welfare in the era of globalization and liberalization.
  • To create awareness about various provisions of Consumer Protection Act, 1986 and related laws having bearing on Consumer Protection.

CO. 109. Students will be aware of the basic procedures for handling consumer dispute.

 

CO. 110. Students will be able to appreciate the emerging questions and policy issues in consumer law for future research

 

Pedagogical methods such as class room lectures and students-teacher interactions, group discussion, quiz, seminar and assignment etc will be used.
